Whether you are looking for a single-day or weekend experience or a longer adventure, Homegrown Bicycle Adventures will build an itinerary to meet your needs. Our region provides all types of terrain – from the gentle, family-friendly Erie Canalway Trail to rolling countryside and small-town charm.

Ramble Tour
If you’re the kind of person that likes to explore but wants a bit of direction, our Ramble option is for you. We will develop an itinerary that meets your group’s interests. All you’ll need to do is gather your riding buddies, pick your dates and let us steer you in the right direction. Prior to your arrival, we’ll send you customized route suggestions for each day of your tour, digital cue sheets for upload or print along with rest stop, meal and overnight lodging suggestions.

Exploration Tour
If you want to take some of the guesswork out but keep the dates flexible, check out our Exploration Tour option. You can still pick your dates and you’ll get all the planning and support as the Ramble Tour. But we will also reach out to our local partners to ensure you enjoy the best lodging, rest stop locations, finest restaurants and visit local attractions of your choice. Printed cue sheets are available on request.

Immersion Tour
Our customized, personalized, supported tour service allows you to experience the Mohawk Valley and southern Adirondacks in a truly unique way. Our region is bursting with historic sites, cultural attractions and entertainment venues that remain relatively unknown. Despite being fully accessible by interstate highway and daily train and bus service, the Mohawk Valley and southern Adirondacks remain relatively untouched by bicycle tourists. Homegrown Bicycle Adventures will build your group’s itinerary to ensure that you experience the region in the way that best meets your riding and relaxing criteria. Every fully customized tour includes pre-arranged visits to cultural attractions and historic sites. We’ll also provide healthy, energy-packed nourishment while you’re out on the road. We’ll meet your group at 2 rest stops during the day and provide lunch according to your dietary needs and culinary interests. You’ll also have on-call mechanical support provided by Utica Bike Rescue, our local non-profit community bike shop. This is a full customizable experience for groups of any size and interest.
